These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of StockDecks (the "Service"), accessible at stockdecks.app and through related apps and pages. By using the Service you accept these Terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the Service.
StockDecks is an educational tool that displays automated ratings of public-market securities and ETFs, lets you build watchlists ("decks"), and includes a paper-trading sandbox. It is not a brokerage, an investment adviser, or a registered financial service. See our Investment Disclaimer for the full set of "what we're not" notes.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service in the EEA/UK, or at least 13 elsewhere (subject to applicable local age rules), to create local data (watchlists, mock-trading positions). If you are below the relevant age, please don't use the Service.
Today StockDecks does not require sign-up. All your data (watchlists, mock-trading positions, preferences) lives in your browser's local storage on your device. You are responsible for backing it up — we provide an Export tool on the Account page for this purpose.
When user accounts launch in a future version, additional terms will apply to authentication, password security, and stored profile information.

StockDecks plans to offer paid Plus and Premium tiers in the future. Pricing, billing terms, refund policy, and subscription cancellation rules will be presented at the point of purchase and added to these Terms at that time. As of today, all features available to you are free.
StockDecks, including its name, logo, design, scoring methodology, and code, is owned by us. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes. You may share links to public pages and download generated share images intended for sharing.
Public-market data, news, and filings shown in the Service are owned by their respective publishers or are in the public domain (e.g. SEC EDGAR filings). We display them for your convenience.
StockDecks relies on third-party data sources, including (but not limited to) Yahoo Finance, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (EDGAR), Stooq, and Google News. Their data is shown subject to their respective terms. We make no guarantee that any third-party source will remain available.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free, and we do not warrant that the data displayed is current, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StockDecks, its owner, and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service — including, without limitation, any actual or paper-traded investment loss.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time — your local data stays on your device until you clear your browser storage or use the in-app reset.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date below; for substantial changes we will, where reasonably possible, surface a notice in the app. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under your local law.
